Do high-frequency internal vibrators need a converter?
Yes. Electric high-frequency vibrators run from a frequency converter that steps the site supply up to the vibrator's operating frequency and voltage. One converter can drive several vibrators, depending on its rating.
Rammer or plate compactor: which should I use?
Rammers suit cohesive soils and narrow trenches. Single-direction plates suit granular soils and asphalt, and reversible plates compact thicker granular layers and backfill. Walk-behind rollers cover larger areas such as footpaths and parking.
